Access your music your way

Built-in Wi-Fi opens up several ways to play your music beyond traditional USB drives. Connect directly to your rekordbox CloudDirectPlay library or stream tracks from supported services including Apple Music, Beatport Streaming and TIDAL through rekordbox StreamingDirectPlay.

Logging in is quick using either a QR code or NFC with rekordbox for iOS or Android installed on your mobile device. Your personal playlists and settings are ready in moments, helping you move between different venues with less equipment while keeping your music library up to date.

Stay focused with clearer information

The 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen provides an intuitive interface inspired by the flagship CDJ-3000X. Browse up to 15 tracks at once while waveform previews make it easier to judge how songs fit together before loading them.

The main waveform display includes visual indicators for vocal positions, BPM changes and phrase structures, giving you more confidence during transitions. Playlist Edit allows you to reorganise playlists directly on the player without returning to a laptop. Dark and Light display modes also help keep information easy to read in bright venues or dimly lit booths.

Build stronger audience interaction

The CDJ-1500X is the first AlphaTheta player compatible with CoBeat, giving you another way to connect with your audience during a performance. Guests can scan a QR code to browse selected tracks, submit song requests or send messages that appear directly on the player's display. Emoji reactions also provide instant feedback on crowd engagement through your connected mobile device.

If you prefer a more traditional performance you can simply disable the feature. Alongside eight Hot Cue buttons, Beat Loop, Beat Sync, Beat Jump and a responsive mid-size jog wheel, the player provides practical tools for confident mixing in a wide variety of performance settings.
