Terms & Conditions

At Electronic Centre we aim to be the most efficient and helpful company within our marketplace and will do everything we can to assist any queries you have.

VAT is included on all purchases which means that the price you see is what you pay unless delivery charges are involved. You will receive a VAT invoice with every purchase.
 
No items are supplied on a trial or loan basis.

All prices are subject to change without notice.  

We reserve the right to cancel any orders on the basis of a pricing error or increase, The customer will be refunded in full.

We accept all Mastercard, American Express, Visa Debt and Credit cards, as well as PayPal. There are no additional charges for using any of these cards. We reserve the right to ship to only the cards holding address. We can also accept cheques from either a business or person (valid photo id required ) but you will have to bear in mind we have to allow 10 working days for  the cheque to clear. So we can dispatch or release the goods.

If, using our currency selector, you have chosen to display our prices in Euros instead of UK Pounds; you will still be charged and invoiced in UK Pounds sterling as we do not accept foreign currency. At the point of payment, your card issuing bank will convert the amount paid in UK pounds to Euros using their current exchange rate. Please bear in mind our Euro display is a guide and that your bank exchange rate may be different to our online display and will reflect on your card statement.

We aim to keep our stock levels accurate as possible, But in the event that an item is ordered that we have not in stock we will contact you straight away.

Items that are dispatched  from Electronic Centre are insured by our couriers within UK and Ireland only. 

All claims for damage in transit or non delivery are fully investigated.

Any delivery claims for either damaged or non-delivered items must be made in writing via email to: sales@electroniccentre.co.uk within 2 days of the expected delivery date.  

Terms which apply to mail order consumers as defined in the Consumer protection (distance selling) Regulations 2000.The consumer shall, subject to the terms set out in this clause, have the right to cancel on order within 7 working days from the day after the goods are delivered by the company provided we receive written notice of such cancellation. Must be unopened and unused. 

If a consumer exercises his/her right to cancel, Electronic Centre shall reimburse any payment made within 21 days from the date he/she gave such notice of cancellation. The consumer shall not be entitled to a repayment in the event that:-

* he/she does not take reasonable care of the goods pre or post cancellation. for the purposes of this clause, a consumer shall be deemed not to have taken reasonable care of the goods if such goods are not kept packed in their original box, with all accessories, manuals and interconnects and the internal or external packaging is damaged in any way or the goods are marked, damaged or not in the same condition in which they were sold.

 WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS:

The warranty is designed to cover manufacturer defects only. If the item fails for any reason not due to manufacturer defect, including any of the following reasons then this warranty is not valid:

  • Abuse or mishandling / Damage (must be reported with 48 hours)
  • The product is used for something for which it was not designed (misuse)
  • Wear and tear beyond the design intentions of the product
  • Environmental conditions
  • The product has been altered, opened or modified
  • The fault was caused by the use of accessories or supplementary parts that are not specifically certified to work by the product manufacturer
  • An inappropriate power supply or battery has been used
  • Inadequate care and maintenance

 

The consumer is responsible for the cost in returning any items.

The following terms apply to mail order consumers as defined in the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 ("Regulations").

The consumer shall, subject to the terms set out in this Clause, have the right to cancel a Contract within 7 working days from the day after the date of delivery of the Goods by the Company to the consumer provided that he/she gives written notice of such cancellation.

A) If a consumer exercises his/her right to cancel a Contract, Electronic Centre shall, in accordance with the Regulations, reimburse any payment made by the consumer within 30 days from the day on which he/she gave such notice of cancellation, provided that the consumer shall not be entitled to a prepayment in the event that:

A1) he/she does not take reasonable care of the Goods either prior to cancellation of the Contract or, following cancellation, while the Goods remain in the possession of the consumer. For the purposes of this sub-clause A1, a consumer shall be deemed not to have taken reasonable care of the Goods if such Goods are not kept packed in their original box, with all accessories, manuals and cables and the internal or external packaging is defaced or damaged in any way; or

A2) the Goods are marked, damaged or not in the same condition in which they are sold.

We will only price match against UK based authorised dealers. We do not match the prices of dealers abroad or Ebay or Amazon sites

Products packed in Blister Packs (sealed plastic), cannot be returned if the blister pack has been opened.

Once opened, Headphones/Earphones/Microphones  cannot be replaced or refunds cannot be given due to hygiene reasons but can be sent for repair if within the guarantee period.

Software products may not be returned and hardware products containing software products that have been registered may also not be returned.

The above terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

All deposits to hold goods are non refundable.

All pre reserve hire deposits are non refundable.

All instore workshop inspection fees are non refundable.

Errors and Omissions Excepted. Every care is taken to ensure that all information within our website, electronic communications and other social networks, is correct. However there may still be errors and we apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. If you find an error or omission, please let us know, and we will correct it as soon as possible after verification.

At the Electronic Centre we adopt a Zero Tolerance policy on all abusive behaviour against any member of our staff contactable  by Telephone, online or instore. We treat all our customers with respect. Please respect our staff also.
