General Information

At Electronic Centre, we aim to provide an efficient and helpful service and will do everything we can to assist with any queries you may have.

VAT is included on all purchases unless delivery charges apply. The price displayed is the price you pay, and a VAT invoice will be provided with every purchase.

No items are supplied on a trial or loan basis.

All prices are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to cancel any order due to pricing errors, supplier price increases, or stock discrepancies. In such cases, the customer will be refunded in full.


Payments

We accept Mastercard, Visa debit and credit cards, American Express, and PayPal. No additional charges apply for using these payment methods.

We reserve the right to ship orders only to the registered cardholder’s billing address.

We also accept personal and business cheques (valid photo ID required). Please allow up to 10 working days for cheque clearance before goods can be dispatched or released.

If you choose to display prices in Euros using our currency selector, payment will still be processed and invoiced in UK Pounds Sterling, as we do not accept foreign currency. Your bank will convert the payment amount using its own exchange rate, which may differ from our displayed estimate.


Deposits, Credit Notes & Fees

All deposits and payments for reserved or uncollected goods are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Pre-paid hire deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

All workshop inspection fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and must be retained.


Finance, Instalment & Deferred Payment Fees

Where a customer chooses to pay using a finance agreement, instalment plan, buy now pay later service, or other deferred payment method, we may incur transaction, merchant, or finance processing fees from the relevant payment or finance provider.

If an order is cancelled, returned, or refunded, any non-refundable fees actually charged to and retained by the payment or finance provider in connection with the original transaction may be deducted from the refund amount.

Any deduction made under this clause will be limited strictly to the amount of such non-refundable third-party fees incurred by us and will not exceed our actual costs.

This clause does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.


Stock Availability

We aim to keep stock levels as accurate as possible. However, if an item is ordered that is unexpectedly out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible.


Delivery & Claims

Goods dispatched by Electronic Centre are insured by our couriers within the UK and Ireland only.

All claims for damage in transit or non-delivery will be fully investigated.

Claims for damaged or non-delivered goods must be made in writing via email to sales@electroniccentre.co.uk within 2 days of the expected delivery date.


Consumer Cancellation Rights (Distance Sales)

These terms apply to mail order consumers in accordance with applicable UK consumer protection laws.

Consumers have the right to cancel eligible orders within 14 days of receiving goods, provided written notice is given and the goods are unopened, unused, and returned in their original condition.

Refunds will be processed in accordance with UK consumer law once returned goods have been inspected.

A refund may be reduced or refused where goods have not been handled with reasonable care, including where:

  • Original packaging is missing or damaged

  • Accessories, manuals, cables, or included items are missing

  • Goods are marked, damaged, altered, or not in resaleable condition

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Products supplied in sealed blister packaging once opened

  • Headphones, earphones, and microphones once opened, due to hygiene reasons

  • Software products

  • Hardware products containing registered software

Items may still be eligible for repair under warranty where applicable.


Warranty Exclusions

Warranty coverage applies to manufacturer defects only.

Warranty does not cover faults or damage caused by:

  • Abuse, accidental damage, or mishandling (damage must be reported within 48 hours)

  • Misuse or use outside intended purpose

  • Excessive wear and tear

  • Environmental damage

  • Alteration, modification, or unauthorised opening of products

  • Use of non-approved accessories or supplementary parts

  • Incorrect power supply or battery use

  • Inadequate care or maintenance


Price Matching

We only price match against authorised UK-based dealers.

We do not price match overseas sellers, eBay, Amazon marketplace sellers, or unauthorised retailers.


Errors & Omissions

We have recently upgraded our online store and have taken every care to ensure all information across our website, electronic communications, and social media channels is accurate.

However, errors or omissions may occasionally occur. If you identify an error, please notify us and we will correct it as soon as possible following verification.

Staff Conduct Policy

Electronic Centre operates a zero tolerance policy towards abusive, threatening, or aggressive behaviour directed at our staff by telephone, online, or in-store.

We treat all customers with respect and ask that our staff are treated with the same courtesy.
