The four-band EQ on each channel gives you far more control than a standard three-band layout. The EQ design is inherited from the DJM-V10, so it feels musical and predictable rather than extreme. As a result, adjustments stay smooth and controlled, helping your mixes sound balanced and intentional.

Smoother blends with longer faders

Each channel is fitted with a 60 mm long-throw fader, giving you more physical space to make accurate level adjustments. This extra travel makes a real difference during slow blends or complex transitions where small changes matter.

The Soft Mix Curve works alongside the faders, subtly easing high frequencies as you introduce the next track. This helps avoid harsh overlaps and keeps transitions sounding natural. For DJs who like to take their time when mixing or work across multiple layers, the fader response supports a more relaxed and controlled approach.

Hands-on effects that stay in time

The DJM-V5 includes six send effects, each accessible through a dedicated knob on every channel. Effects include delay-based options and reverb-style textures, giving you a useful range for building tension or adding movement.

The time control adapts to the selected effect and supports BPM-synced operation, so changes stay musical while still allowing manual adjustment. This balance makes the effects easy to use during performance without pulling focus away from the mix. It also means you can apply effects selectively, adding character to individual channels instead of the full output.

Connected workflows with clean monitoring

With built-in SonicLink support, the DJM-V5 enables ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring using compatible devices. Pairing is quick via a button or NFC touch, helping keep your booth free of excess cables. PRO DJ LINK integration allows tight communication with supported CDJs and rekordbox, enabling BPM-synced effects and Link Cue functionality.

Link Cue lets you preview tracks and sections without loading them, supported by a dedicated cue volume control. USB Type-C connectivity also supports rekordbox, Serato DJ Pro, mobile devices, and external effect units, making the mixer flexible for performance, streaming, and recording setups.
