Audient iD4 mkii

Audient surprised both friend and foe with their ID22 and ID24 audio interfaces. These supremely well-built models offered outstanding value for money, featuring world-class preamplifiers, high performance AD/DA converters and robust housing. The ID4 has all of these features too, squeezed into a highly-compact metal construction. In addition, there's a JFET instrument input and two headphone sockets. Its modest dimensions make it ideal for mobile recording. 

Complete yet compact

While it may be small, don't let the ID4's compact dimensions fool you. It still has all of the most important features you'd find on a much larger console. That means console-style monitor control, JFET DI and a virtual scroll wheel that lets you navigate through various modes. This last feature is something you’d normally only find on very expensive consoles! The ID4 is powered via the USB cable, so you won't need to bother with an external adapter. 

JFET DI

The discrete instrument input offers superior signal reproduction and is equipped with a JFET transistor that gives you the same harmonic distortion as you'd get from a tube amp! Whatever instrument you plug in, whether it’s guitar, bass or keyboard, the ID4 will transfer the sound as accurately as possible, giving you professional studio-quality recordings. Lastly, you'll have an excellent monitor mix option at your disposal that lets you switch between your inputs and playback via your DAW, all with zero latency!
