Moog is a name that all synth lovers will instantly recognise as the name that started it all.. Arguably the mother of all modern synthesizers. So it’s only fitting that the new creation from Moog is called the Mother-32. This distinctive, vintage-voiced performance and production synth is designed to give you that classic, endless sonic exploration synonymous with the Moog family.

VINTAGE DESIGN

The Moog Mother-32 synth module is mounted within a black, laser-etched extruded aluminium body complete with traditional wood sides that simply oozes vintage character. The synth engine is 100% analog and every parameter can be tweaked using the one knob per-function interface, comprehensive voltage-controlled sequencer and an extensive 32-point analog patchbay.

SEMI-MODULAR DESIGN

With the Mother-32, you can start making huge analog sounds as soon as you power it on thanks to its clever semi-modular design. This allows skilled musicians or electronical enthusiasts to begin making comprehensive quickly and easily.

But that’s not to say that hardcore synth fans won’t be pleased here either. The Mother-32 contains an extensive 32-point patchbay which gives you the capability to create some truly complex and expressive tones. The patchbay also gives you access to much more functionality including an assignable CV output jack, MIDI to CV conversion, external audio input, a second voltage-controlled mixer, sync, and multiple unit expandability.

POWERFUL OSCILLATORS

The Moog Mother-32 has a built in 10-octave oscillator with variable pulse width and an analog noise generator. These sources can then be blended together with a voltage controlled mixer which results in some amazing sounds that will be totally unique to you.

The signal can then be sent from the mixer through the acclaimed Moog Ladder Filter with selectable low pass and high pass filter types

MODERN ENHANCEMENTS

To aid you in your quest for musical world-domination, the Mother-32 comes complete with a voltage controlled 32-step sequencer which allows you to create catchy synth-lines. You can save your creations in any of the 64 pattern memory banks for later recall.

For more complex performance and writing, the Mother-32 has a MIDI input for you to play your sound creations freely with an external MIDI controller or sequencer.
