AlphaTheta XDJ-AN

The AlphaTheta XDJ-AN is an all-in-one DJ system built to give DJs an entry-level device that streams music and smooths the transition to professional club gear such as the CDJ media players and DJM mixers found in DJ booths and on festival stages worldwide.

With the music discovery ecosystem shifting dramatically and the digital transformation of the DJ booth continuing at pace, AlphaTheta has focused on source connectivity: wherever you find your music, the XDJ-AN makes preparing for club gigs easier than ever. And it isn't the multi-source approach alone that delivers this - for the first time, playlist edits can be made directly from the on-board touchscreen and saved to the cloud, ready to recall later.

From launch, the XDJ-AN supports a wide range of streaming services through DirectStreamingPlay, including Apple Music, Beatport Streaming and Tidal, with Spotify added via a firmware update. To bring in SoundCloud and Spotify as well, you can connect to rekordbox and Algoriddim djay for access to all your favourite tracks. USB connectivity means any files stored on your Mac or PC can be exported through rekordbox and dropped seamlessly into your set.

Beyond streaming from the cloud, you can live stream using the DJM-REC app, which also records your set - just like a DJM mixer - bringing you a step closer to the club experience.

You can focus on reading the crowd, because every essential control sits exactly where you'd expect it on industry-standard kit - even the hot cue triggers match the layout of a CDJ-3000X.

Beginners will find the unit intuitive, while DJs whose journey started on a controller will feel right at home, especially as the XDJ-AN is supported in rekordbox, Serato DJ Lite and Algoriddim djay.

Other professional features include SONICLINK, the low-latency wireless headphone monitoring system seen on the XDJ-AZ and DJM-V5. High-quality sound design is built in, with flexible connectivity that includes RCA and XLR master outputs alongside Bluetooth input and output.
