The Yamaha AG08 features two microphone input channels and six assignable stereo line channels for incredible signal routing flexibility. You can set up two condenser microphones, a guitar, a keyboard an electronic drum kit, a smartphone or tablet, external media players, and so much more. However, the connectivity doesn't stop there. Thanks to a built-in USB audio interface and loopback functionality, you can assign computer audio, like audio from video games, video playback, or voice calls to mix them with the rest of your audio sources.

Engaging effects

Sometimes being a great content creator requires switching things up a little, and whether you're musically inclined, or just want to entertain, the AG08 offers professional-sounding effects that you can customise in the AG08 Controller app to expand its functionality. Compression and EQ will help you give your voice the sound and presence it needs. Meanwhile, a voice changer with adjustable pitch and formant parameters will help you create some unique effects, robotic voices, and so much more. Then, adjustable reverb and delay will add space and depth to your voice, especially perfect when performing music. These effects chains can be stored as presets, with memory for up to four at once to be loaded whenever you need them. Channel 2, instead of the voice changer, offers access to a Hi-Z input and amp simulator, perfect for electric guitars or bass. Plus, six sound pads with assignable samples will let you play back sounds chosen by you whenever you want.
