DBR12 Active Speaker (Single)

Sitting in the middle of Yamaha's DBR range of loudspeakers, the DBR12 Active Loudspeaker delivers a huge 1000 Watts of power whilst remaining at a compact size. Covering a huge 52 Hz to 20 kHz spectrum, you can be sure to get a powerful yet faithful representation of your performance.

Not only do you get lots of power from the DBR12, you get superb quality too. This is thanks in large to the 12" cone woofer with a 2" voice coil, and a  1" throat compression tweeter that power out low and high frequencies respectively. The FIR-X Tuning crossover sends the relevant frequencies to the woofer and tweeter, separating at 2.1kHz for superior definition.

The power amp in the Yamaha DBR12 sends 800W to the woofer and 200W to the HF driver. The power consumption of this efficient unit is 60W when active and 18W when idle. When you really have to turn up the volume, the DBR12 comes with an internal 4-speed fan to make sure that any extra heat is dissipated quickly, thus protecting the internal amp.

Complete connectivity

The Yamaha DBR12 comes with a all the inputs you need, including 2 XLR/Jack combos as well as stereo RCA inputs. For output, you have a balanced XLR connection.

For easy control, the gain knobs are situated at the side of the relevant input as well as a handy mic/line switch on input 1. There are also easy configuration switches for high-pass filter settings and the D-Contour switch that will alter the sound coming out of the Yamaha DBR12 depending if you want to use it as a PA speaker or monitor.

Finally, the back panel also has clear LED markings to show the status of the Amp. Limit, signal, protection and power can be easily checked at a glance.
